Cincinnati's Bus System is not Meeting the Needs of our 21st Century Economy and Travel Needs

Our system is set up for the needs of the 1970's when many people worked in the urban core and then commuted back home in the neighborhoods and suburbs after a 9-5 shift.  The Better Bus Coalition is advocating for an overhauled and expanded bus network throughout Cincinnati and Hamilton County funded by a countywide sales tax to replace the city earnings tax that has "temporarily" funded the system since 1973.   More crosstown service, new transit hubs countywide, more frequent service on high-capacity routes, a Rapid Transit system, and routes to suburban job sites are needed to build the kind of robust public transportation system that meets our current and future needs.  Help us advocate for a public transit system that we can be proud of.
