The Blue Line

The Blue Line (named for its terminus in Blue Ash) connects 15 communities along the I-71 Northeast Corridor.  Making use of SORTA-owned railroad right-of-way, the Blue Line runs in the proposed Uptown-Blue Ash Busway from Cornell Park to the University of Cincinnati.  From there the route heads Downtown making use of dedicated bus lanes to separate BRT vehicles from general traffic and ensure schedule adherence regardless of congestion.

100,000 people and over 160,000 jobs are within a 1/2-mile of the stations on the 17.8 mile route.  Major transfer hubs are located at Government Square, UC/Jefferson, Norwood Center, Galbraith Road, and Cornell Park. However, all stations offer bus transfers and multi-modal connections such as bike-share docks and ride-share waiting areas, with some stations offering Park n' Rides.
